The Daniel's Park Overlook in Castle Rock, Colorado gives that perfect "on top of the world" feeling for couples. It is a unique location for a wedding portrait, because from the best spot, there is a gorgeous view from Pikes Peak to Mt. Elbert.
My couples that are getting married in Denver (like this couple who was married at the Hyatt Regency in the Denver Tech Center) are always asking where they can take wedding portraits that have that pastoral Colorado feel. While this location is a bit of a drive, it's a wonderful option for a Day After portrait session.
While the window of opportunity for portraits from this location is small, the results are always beautiful and iconically Colorado.
